Davis pace around Crysta’s door nervously and in fear as he waited for the doctor to come out
He had never been in a situation like this,he can’t believe he almost murder someone because of his anger
His mind drifted back to how Crysta was lifeless after he pushed her
“Please be fine! Please! He muttered almost at the point of tears
Luke who had been watching his boss looking worried couldn’t help but to sympathize with him
He wished he could help his boss but there’s nothing he could do
Some minutes later, the doctor came out of Crysta’s room
“How is she doctor? He asked immediately
” She is fine though unconscious,her wounds has been stitched and she needs no disturbance for now” the doctor replied
” When will she regain consciousness? He asked with concern
” It depends on how responsive she is to treatment,if she responds well, she might wake up sooner like two days later” the doctor replied
” Ok then” he replied and face Luke
” See the doctor out” he ordered
“Ok boss” Luke replied
” After you doctor” Luke said to the doctor and the doctor nodded before making his way out while Luke follow behind
Davis wanted to go inside to see Crysta but remembering that doctor asked no one to disturb her so he decided against it, instead he went to his room..

FOUR DAYS LATER**
“Welcome home sir” Mrs Grande, the old lady and also Davis housekeeper greeted Davis as he walked in with Luke behind him
“Thanks Mrs Grande” he replied with his hands tucked inside pocket
” Still the same Sir” she replied with a concern tone and he sighed
“I’ll go and see her then” he said before walking away

Davis enter Crysta’s room closing the door behind
He walk over to her bed where she was laying unconscious
She hadn’t regain consciousness for the past four days after the accident,if not for the assurance of the doctor,he would have lose hope
“When will you wake up? He muttered licking his dried lower lips
He watched her for few more minutes before deciding to leave
Just as he turns to leave,he heard a whimper from behind
He stopped dead on his track before turning back
His eyes widened as he saw Crysta eyes open with her lips parted open
“Crysta” he called rushing to her
” Crysta are you okay? He asked sitting beside her on the bed
“Wa….ter” Crysta stuffed breathlessly
Davis jump out of the bed and thankfully, there is a jar of water on the drawer beside her bedstand
He poured the water into the glass cup and gave it to her but Crysta was too weak to hold it so he helped her till she gulped down everything
“Are you okay? He asked and she nodded
” Crysta how are you feeling? He asked with concern as he dropped the glass cup
“Who are you?? Crysta asked staring at Davis like a stranger
” You don’t know who I am?? He asked in shock and she shake her head as no
“No! I don’t” who are you? She replied truthfully
